Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a wife, mother of four, and a pediatric nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and busy mother of three energetic boys and one tough little princess. I have been a pediatric nurse for 15 years and work part time in the ER at a children's hospital. I grew up in North Georgia and I am a farm girl at heart. I love to read, go on dates with my hubby, hang out with my girlfriends, and visit family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents are converts to the church and most of my extended family is Baptist. I grew up as one of the few Mormons in my high school and the only Mormon at the private Baptist nursing college I attended. My hero is my grandmother who is Baptist and has always been such an insprirational example to me of someone who shows true Christlike love. I guess you could say I have Baptist roots. I gained a testimony of the church when I was 13 and prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true. I recieved an answer in the form of a calm and peaceful feeling that what I was reading was the word of God. That answer has been replayed in my heart and mind on a daily basis since, as I recieve the peace and hope that the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives. Reading the Scriptures and especially the Book of Mormon gives me strength, wisdom, and courage to face the challenges life throws at me as a wife, mother, and nurse. Studying the Book of Mormon has brought me to know my Savior and has helped me understand how to stay close to him. I know Joseph Smith restored the true gospel of Jesus Christ, including the power to act in his name. That power is called the priesthood. It is the ability to perform covenents that are binding on earth and in heaven. My husband and I and our children are sealed together for eternity because of the binding power of the restored priesthood of Jesus Christ. Knowing that we will be together forever in the eternities gives me an incredible sense of joy, peace and hope! Knowing that families can be together forever and knowing how much the Savior loves all of us helps me face life and death as a human and as a nurse.

How I live my faith

I serve as a cub scout leader with the 9 year old boys in my church, a calling that is fun and full of challenges. I also serve as a visiting teacher. I visit 4 wonderful women once a month and share a spiritual message. I also see if they have any need of help and offer a listening ear. The relationships I have formed as a visiting teacher have been lifelong blessings to me.
