Hi I'm Eric

I'm a brother, a son and a student. I like cheese, fruit snacks, rock climbing, dancing and scootering and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm working on finishing up at college. I try to balance my time between, work, school and time with friends. I enjoy working hard and achieving my goals but I also enjoy playing hard. My free time usually is spent outside playing sports, hiking, camping or rock climbing. I also really like traveling...if only I had more time and more money to do it! I look forward to what the future has in store for me but life is pretty good right now too.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the Gospel didn't come in one great moment, but through a series of spiritual experiences that I cannot deny I have come to know that the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I feel like I have always known that I have had a Heavenly Father who loves me. He has answered my sincere prayers and given me guidance when I have sought it. During my teenage years I began to have more questions about God's plan for me and if this really was his true church. I have searched for answers and found them. I've read the Book of Mormon and know it is true. Because of this I know that the Lord's true church is on the earth again. I know that God knows me personally. I know he has a plan that allows me to be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in the big things and the small things. I try to follow the example of my Savior in my day to day actions and in my relationships with my friends and families. I feel that living my faith requires me not only to keep the commandments of God but also to show charity to all of those around me. I've come to learn that as I try to follow my Savior closely I am blessed more and more with the Spirit. Having the Spirit with me brings me great comfort, joy and peace of mind.
