Hi I'm Adam

I play the piano, sing and act. I love math, photography, and people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I came on a mission right after I finished high school. In school I was heavily involved in choir and drama. I took choir all throughout high school and loved going on tours, singing in concerts and even got to be a student director my senior year. My favorite tour was when we traveled to Seattle. I performed in many plays throughout my high school years, including Shakespeare festivals, musicals and straight plays. Playing Javert in Les Miserables was my favorite experience. I also enjoyed studying math and science, and loved those classes. I enjoy running, taking photographs, reading, playing piano, teaching, and gaining knowledge. I love excellence, and seek for it in all that I do or participate in.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people will say that because you are born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, your parents teachings in your childhood are the reason you are a member. Obviously this plays a large role and I am forever grateful for my parent's teachings and faithfulness. However, anyone can see Mormons or children from other faiths who no longer are in their childhood church. I am a Mormon because I first and foremost have studied the doctrines, most importantly the Book of Mormon, and having done so I prayed to my Father in Heaven. I received a sure spiritual witness that the Book of Mormon is true, and that this church is His church on the earth. I also have a testimony of the blessings that come from being a part of this church and living according to the commandments of God set forth by His prophets. When I keep His commandments I receive happiness, joy, and peace. I find true direction and meaning in life. I truly believe that I find more happiness and peace in following these teachings than I can find anywhere else. And who doesn't want to be happy?

How I live my faith

Right now I am a full-time missionary, serving in the Ukraine Kyiv mission. Every day we work to help people accept the restored gospel and come unto Christ through faith, repentance, baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. It is a great blessing to be able to serve the Lord with all my energy and devote all my time to Him. Obviously, this is not something that will always be possible for me, so I am striving to improve myself as much as I can so that after my mission, I can continue to serve my fellow men to the best of my ability in whatever I'm asked to do.
