Hi I'm Ben

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Missouri. I started a roofing, siding, gutter and window business.

About Me

I am self employed. I own a roofing, siding, gutter and window company. After high school, I served a two year full time mission in Las Vegas, Nevada. I then attended BYU-Idaho and Utah Valley University where I received a business management degree. I met my wife while attending UVU. We got married in 2000 and now have three children. I enjoy spending time with my family doing things like camping, bike riding, riding atv's, racquetball, fishing and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a second generation Latter-day Saint. I do not have pioneer ancestors that I am aware of. I saw the values and principals that my parents taught me helped me to be more like Christ. Ultimately I had to read the scriptures and then get on my knees and pray to Heavenly Father to know if the things my parents were telling me were true. I felt the spirit on a number of occasions, that let me know the church is true. I am a better person, a better husband and a better father because of its teachings.

How I live my faith

Being self employed I try to be involved in my community and surrounding communities. I attend several chamber of commerce meetings. I am teamed up with my father as a home teaching partner. We are assigned families to visit on a regular basis, share a spiritual message and get to know them better so if they are in need of something that would call on us to help them. I serve as the second counselor to the Bishop in our ward. I work closely with the Primary, Sunday School, Library, Young Men, Young Women and Boy Scouts.
