Hi I'm Cammie

I'm a stay-at-home mom of four. I love sports, exercise, crafts, going to movies and reading books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho. I love the country and I loved going river rafting! I moved to California when I was 19. I have three boys and one girl ages 23 1/2, 21, almost 14 and 11. My two oldest boys are from my first marriage and then I had another son and a daughter from my second marriage. I've taken some classes in college but honestly I just always wanted to be a mom and I've been blessed to be able to do that. I love to scrapbook. Well, I love it when they are done! I make cards, love to try out new recipes and my family is great. They will always try it! I love movies and I love to read!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon but left the church for about ten years. During those years my life was not great. It was just dark. My second husband was not a member of the church and he was very anti. We started having some problems, almost got separated and I wanted to go back to church. He finally decided to have the missionary discussions. He and my two oldest boys were baptized in 2001. My two younger kids have been raised in the church. I can only say this.....I will NEVER leave the church again!! I don't want to ever be without the peace and comfort that it brings. The security, family and friendships. The guidance that we receive. It just brings a light into our lives!

How I live my faith

There are only a few kids that are Mormon in the schools that my kids attend and have attended. They tend to stand out. Because of this people are always watching what we do. It's been so nice to know that we are the example for many people here. In my ward I am the camp director for the young women....ages 12 - 18. I just got put in this so I'm nervous but very excited. I love working with the youth. I've worked with the women before and it's just so much fun. I also worked with the 8 - 11 year old girls for a while. It's so rewarding getting to know these great kids and then seeing how strong they are!
