Hi I'm Cynthia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert of 28 years. After 32 years of working in manufaturing plants, I took a leap and changed occupations. Now I am a cook for 4000 students in a school district. I enjoy sewing, working outside in the garden, and keeping in touch with my brothers, sisters and daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1976 I started seeking a relationship with Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. After 8 years of studying the New Testament, I had many questions about the God Head. I attended many differnt denominations during those years, from California, Washington, Spain, Colorado, to Nebraska. In 1983, I was visited by two Latterday Saint Missionaries, who helpled me get an answer and started me on a path that has helped me have a personal relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am very thankful to my Heavenly Father for bringing those young men to my home.

How I live my faith

Christ's example of helping and serving others, is what I strive to follow. The Lord's church has given me many opportunities to serve others. I now am teaching the 9 to 11 year olds. I am also coordinating food storage canning with our Churchs Home Storage Center. I also enjoy visiting and helping my neighbors, and strangers. I love the feeling of love that comes from helping someone on their way through this life.
