Hi I'm Kristen

A mother of five. Married and living in Mesa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of five. I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we raise our children in Mesa, AZ. I was born in Utah but moved to Arizona just before I started Kindergarten. I was raised in a small town, then moved to the "big city" to go to college and to eventually get married. I enjoy living here, there is so much to do and such opportunities. I love being a mother, being able to be home with my kids and to take care of my home. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially taking road trips, as we journey around and explore this beautiful state. I enjoy reading a lot and share that love with my older kids. I enjoy writing, cooking, designing and truth be known, cleaning. It's very therapeutic for me. I am very organized, am a self proclaimed chocoholic, enjoy a good movie night with my family and really appreciate a kind word, smile and the thoughtfulness of others!

Why I am a Mormon

Gratefully, I was born in the covenant and raised a member of the church. I am thankful for this. Having this knowledge since I was born, has helped me tremendously throughout my childhood, adolescent, young adult and into my married life. I rely so much on my testimony, each day, especially now, as I am raising children of my own and in a world very different from the world I grew up in. Not a day goes by that I don't thank my Heavenly Father for His gospel. To know Him and to have known Him all my life is and has been a true blessing.

How I live my faith

Each day presents itself with two choices; will it be a good one or a bad one? And each answer comes from one source; ME. I know that the choices I make will determine my day. Currently, I am the Primary President in my ward and have stewardship over 100+ kids. With 5 of my own, all under the age of 10, I realize that this calling as well as my calling as a mother, is crucial in teaching the fundamentals and basics of the gospel. It's essential that children learn at a young age; who Heavenly Father and Jesus are, how to pray, why and how we worship on Sundays and the closeness and impact a family can have on and for one another. I try to implement this in my Primary teachings and also in my own home with my own children.
