Hi I'm Lorraine.

I grew up in the western United States. I love anything family-related! I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy life very much! I have a good husband and eight beautiful children who keep life lively, but very fulfilling. I love any family-related activities--family camping, trips together, family games and outings are all things I love. My educational background is a bachelor's degree in education, with an emphasis in creative writing. Whenever I do have a few minutes to myself, reading a classic or writing something are two of my favorite creative relaxations. My other favorite activity is my weekly date with my husband--going together to a good play or musical at our city's performing arts center would be my first-choice date!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because that is where the Lord's complete plan of happiness for all his children is found. That is where we find what our Heavenly Father wants for us, in this life and after, and how we can achieve His desires for us. It's where we learn what we need to do to be an eternal family, and to live as that eternal family forever with our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ--my greatest desire.

How I live my faith

I teach our adult Sunday School class at church, and also supervise weekday activities for young girls ages 8-11, providing cultural, sport, artistic, educational, and faith-building activities for them. I also volunteer at our local schools as a community service, and enjoy service projects such as cleaning and planting at our city parks. One of my favorite ways to live my faith is to visit individuals who are lonely, sick, overwhelmed, or just needing a friend at the moment--that makes me very happy!
