Hi I'm Tyler John Mander

I am a missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I love teaching. I love my Savior. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Elder Tyler Mander, and I love life. I love to do many things. I like to play basketball, volleyball, tennis, and football. I love musicals and singing and acting. I love to kayack in rivers. Pretty much, a valuable lesson I've learned in life is to not be afraid to pursue your interests and never let anyone else decide what you want to do. I enjoy participating in many things and have never looked back. You only have one earthly life, and it's up to you, not others to decide how to live it. So have fun, have joy, and live. I love to serve, and I love Animals (especially Lions/Tigers/Big-Cat-like-animals). Currently i'm interested in Biochemistry and Zoology. I'm going with pre-med, but i'm not sure if it'll change. I love the medical field and helping others with their life. My greatest enjoyment comes from seeing and helping people's lives imporve. My favorite thing to do is Testify of my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my brother and my Redeemer. I'm an Elder for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints has always been a great privilege for me. From a young age I have always loved learning more and more about the Church and what it means to be a Mormon. During the course of my shooling I've had many opportunities to stand up for what I believe in and have felt the hand of my Heavenly Father helping me along the way. I've always known the Gospel is true, and I've felt my testimony strengthened daily as I study from The Book of Mormon and as I have lost myself in the service of others. I've found that by helping and serving others that I grow so much closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. Sometimes, and often, life is very difficult. Sometimes it seems that aspects in our life are constantly getting worse. But we have been promised by the Heavenly Father and our Savior jesus Christ, that we are never, and never will be, alone. Our Savior Jesus Christ knows everything we've been through. He knows each and every one of us. He knows everything we have and ever will experience. He knos our joys, our sorrows, our weaknesses and our strengths. He really does know us, one by one. I testify that this Gospel is true. I encourage everyone to read The Book of Mormon and pray to find out the truth of it for themselves. I promise that they will recieve an answer from their Heavenly Father. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17) "Wherefore Feast upon the words of Christ, for the words of Christ will tell ye all things what ye should do." (2 Nephi 32:3) Throughout our entire lives, we need to "feast" upon the words of Christ, for they will let us know what to do. Whether it be a problem, a question, or normal life, active searching the scriptures and prayer will help.

How I live my faith

Living the teachings of my faith and my beliefs is really important to me. Currently I am serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.
