Hi I'm Erwin

I'm guatemalan. I want to be a surgeon and a polyglot. I speak Spanish, English, and a little Portuguese so far, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to meet people and make friends everywhere i go. It's a little hard for me to start a conversation, but if someone start one with me i can became such a really good and loyal friend. I love people. I learned that from my mom. I love her too. I love piano music. One of my dreams is to be a Pianist. I'm on the way to accomplish that dream, but first i will go and serve the Lord as a missionary. When i accomplish that dream i would like to write Inspirational music that can bring peace and happiness when hearing it. I really love to learn other languages, i speak english and spanish. I would like to learn french and also some native tongues from my country. To paint and design is one of my hobbies. I'm not that good, but with a little bit of patience i know i can make something pretty.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, so you can think, that's easy for him, he grew up learning that. But actually i had to ask God by myself if this really was the true church of Christ. One day, one of my church's teachers established a goal for me and all the other young men and women of the class; to read the Book of Mormon and ask God to know by ourselves, with the guide of His Spirit, if this Church and the Book of Mormon were true. I accepted to set up the goal and i did start read and read until the day came in which I finished the book and I prayed about it. I asked God with the words of a 15 years old young men if this was really the church of Jesus Christ, the true church. He did not answered inmediately, but from that day on I did start living the teachings of his Gospel. I continued reading and applying all the things i learned and as far as I applied them to my life, my knowledge about the truthfulness of the Gospel grew up more and more. Now i can say that this is true, because i have already lived it, and in that way God answered my question. And i know for sure that this is true, and i can't deny it now that i know it. This is the way to find happiness, here on earth and after this life for the whole eternity.

How I live my faith

I love my neighbor, serve is a great experience that probably will not bring you phisical rewards but if you want to be happy, really happy, serve will help you to accomplish that and i can guarantee that to you. I pray every day, to have the guide from the Lord and his protection. He is always there for us, we just need to pray and speak with him, believing he is there and he will make us know he is there. Attending church, because is the place where we can learn more about the Gospel and about Jesus Christ. I serve as an auxiliary clerk on church, i write on the records some important things about meetings and goals that my local leaders plan to improve the way people can learn and live the gospel in my area. I remember to the leaders about their meetings and responsabilities and also help them to accomplish their duties.
