Hi I'm Wade

I'm the father of three little princesses. I love camping and star gazing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud father of three little girls. I'm big into astronomy and all things dealing with space and space exploration. I'm also a big sci-fi geek, my favorite being the original Star Wars trilogy. My girls don't share that passion, but fortunately they love camping as much as I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a latter day saint, but wasn't that active in college. I remember feeling so alone. It took me a while to start living again the lessons I had learned when I was little, but the closer I drew to the Lord the more fulfilling my life became.

How I live my faith

When I was little I read an autobiography on a Latter Day Saint leader and about this person, someone made the statement that "the Mormons may have its black sheep but that is not one of them". I was inspired by this and have tried to live my life as an example of what I believe. Rather than telling people I'm a Mormon, and what I believe, I want them to see it in my every day actions.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Wade
When Moses built the tabernacle in the wilderness, included in the tabernacle was a room where the ark of the covenant was stored. Due to its sacredness only Moses and a selected few were allowed into it to perform sacred rituals. Mirroring the temples of old, the temples are a sacred place where we can draw near to our Lord. We cherish the temples and treat them with reverence. They are not secret because all can enter after baptism and proper preparation. Show more Show less
