Hi I'm Jim

I love music, art... and cookies. Grateful to be a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I'm a bit of an artist (music, drawing, sometimes painting). I was learning how to play the piano but I don't have a keyboard anymore. Not that much into sports. Generally a good guy (nobody's perfect people!). Patience is a virtue of mine. I like learning so reading became a hobby. The more I know the happier I am. I'm going to buy a turtle and name it The Speed Of Light.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon and I am thankful for this. I used to take it for granted until I got interested in my religion. So at the age of 17 I read The Book of Mormon. It changed my life for the best and people do tend to notice. READ IT and if u have done so already READ IT AGAIN. I may be ridiculed for my beliefs, but they can't deny me my testimony: I know my Heavenly Father loves me and that He answers my prayers. I know that Christ is my savior and that He atoned for my sins. I know that if you seek diligently for the truth, God will manifest it to you in due time. I know this church is true. I also know that we matter to Him and that He wants us to come to the truth of all things. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I read my scriptures and help the missionaries out whenever I can. I do mini lessons to those who ask me questions about the church. I support my leaders, and do my best in my callings in the church. I also attend the LDS Institute of religion. And of course I pray everyday. That among other things.

Are Mormons Christians?

Jim
Sure we are, I mean→The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Later-day Saints. "...Saints pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and the head of our church." -Gordon B. Hinckley Show more Show less
