Hi I'm Natalie

I'm new to adulthood...I don't know too much about anything, yet. But I do know one thing: I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love running, making music, exploring new places, writing, meeting new people, learning, and loving. I don't know exactly what I want to be when I grow up, but I know that life is about the journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I know that I am more than a coincidence. And because I know that, I also know that I my life has a purpose. I know God loves me, as He loves all His children. Although I grew up in the church, I consider myself to be converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While on my mission, I found myself struggling at times to stay firm in my testimony. I remember feeling afraid, alone, and confused. At first, I felt guilt for having doubts about this Church that I had been a part of my whole life. However, when I built up enough courage to approach God with my dilemma, I immediately felt the reassurance that He was there, that He loved me, and that He wanted me to know the truth...for myself. I felt inspired to read certain parts of the scriptures, felt my humble prayers answered with feelings of peace and assurance, and slowly, but surely, my testimony returned four-fold. I was able to complete my mission and returned home with a sure knowledge of our Heavenly Father's plan and a love for Jesus Christ and his Atonement.

How I live my faith

I love my ward. I have had many wonderful experiences helping in the Scouting program, participating on the ward music committee, and teaching others. Most of all, I love having the knowledge about God's plan for us. The things that I learn each week at church and from reading in the scriptures remind me that the center of everything is LOVE. Although I am by no means perfect, I recognize the divine potential in others and it helps me to serve those I am around each day.
