Hi I'm Cambria

I grew up in Utah. I love the arts, fashion, and fun. I am serving a mission for my Lord and Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the arts. Singing, dancing, acting, painting, drawing, fashion, I love it all! I am currently single and serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (The church that Mormons are associated with). My dream is to have get married and have a family. The idea of being a mom is such a scary and exciting prospect. I am so excited for that. I find it such a wonderful privilege, blessing, and responsibility to give life and guide through life children of my Heavenly Father. What a precious gift that is that He gives us, to be parents, just like Him. I love helping people with their lives. I constantly seek to better myself and love to be a part of the change of others. There is nothing more satisfying than the feeling that I have helped someone.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but that is not why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He lived and died for each and everyone of us and I want to do all that I can to serve Him. I have felt His overpowering love for me and I know that what I felt is real. I have sought His love in many times of trial as well as joy and I know that He is there for me, for each of us, individually. He has saved me from the consequences of the deepest despair and I will do anything to show my gratitude for that. I am a Mormon because I believe in living prophets. I don't believe that God leaves us alone and without counsel. I know that God wants each of us to find truth and I believe that living prophets are a way to do so. There is so much uncertainty in the world and so much debate over the topic of religion and I believe that He has placed these men to sort out the confusion that comes. I have prayed and felt the truth of their words. The last reason that I want to share is that I am a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon really is one of my favorite books. I have come to know my Savior even more as I read it. The testaments of Christ contained in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon are so powerful, and together that power increases dramatically. I have not followed the faith of my parents mindlessly or even just out of respect, I have followed their faith because I have prayed and asked Heavenly Father myself if the Book of Mormon and other truths surrounding it are true and from Him. I received an answer. It is true. The Book of Mormon is the word of God through His prophets and I want to receive all of His words.

How I live my faith

Living according to my faith is crucial to me. None of us are perfect in following the example of our Savior but I do my best and try to show my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ by serving His children. Currently I am a missionary. I have left my home and country to share the beautiful message of the love that God has for us and of the life, suffering, death, and triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for everything that Jesus Christ has done for me, in paying for my sins and in helping me through the trials and heartaches of this world. Without Him I would be lost. I want to share that with whomever will listen. I know that He can help us all. As a missionary I seek those who are interested in learning more about how they can more fully access the help that Christ offers and also to those who have never heard of Jesus Christ or have not previously developed faith in Jesus Christ. I do my best to help people develop strong faith in Him and repent of their sins. I then get the wonderful opportunity of seeing those who follow that course to make sacred covenants, or promises, with God, the first of which being baptized by proper authority. It is wonderful to see the change that happens in people as they are then cleansed of their sins, clean and pure, as if no sin had ever occurred. Then I get to see people receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, which is a gift from God that His Holy Spirit, or the Holy Ghost, will always be with the recipient as they live worthy of it. Then my duty and privilege comes back into play. Endurance to the teachings of Christ are essential and so I help people to continue to develop greater faith and keep true to the faith that they already have obtained and been given. I live my faith by living it, loving it, and sharing it.
