Hi I'm Braden Elquist

I am from Spanish Fork Utah, I am currently serving a LDS Mission, and I am a MORMON

About Me

I am 19 and am currently serving a mission in the state of Indiana and currently in Franklin Indiana. When not on my mission I enjoy going on long distance runs and playing about just any sport. I also love the medical field and will hopefully if everything goes right be attending there the fall of 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

That question has been a big question here in my life, The easiest way to explain why I am a Mormon is to tell what it has done for me. I have always been a member my whole life and have relied on my parents to guide me, but a couple of years ago I knew that I needed to find out for my self if the church was really true and if it was something I wanted to go and spend two years of my life teaching people about it. What I did was I took a challenge to read the Book of Mormon and ponder what was in it and then to ask Our Heavenly Father if it was true he being the only one that could tell us if something was true and from him. So I did this and the knowledge I gained from this has blessed my life, I know what happens after I die, death no longer is something I dread but something I live for, this life is not the end and things will go on after this life and I know for my self that I will be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I live my life by waking up each morning and going out and being like the Savior would have me be, by following his last advice for his disciples which was to Feed my sheep. I love going out and sharing the gospel. Currently I am serving in the Indianapolis Indiana mission serving in the Mishawaka ward up near South Bend. I love the people and the area.

How does the Church finance its operations?

Braden Elquist
The way the church is able to finance all of the things it does is because of the faithful members of the church who with faith donate a generous ten percent of there income each year to the church. Show more Show less
