Hi I'm Izzy

I've attended a Waldorf school since kindergarten, love art, play basketball and volleyball and hope to become an archaeologist.

About Me

I'm the second of 3 girls in my family. All 3 of us are adopted. We all attend a Waldorf school. I love art, archaeology, rock climbing, dance and did I mention art. I like to paint, sculpt, carve wood, cut (paper creations) and sketch. In Waldorf education you stay with the same class and teacher from 1st to 8th grade. I love my classmates and my teacher. My goal in life is to become an archaeologist or to own a dress store where I will design the most incredible, beautiful and modest dresses for special occasions.

Why I am a Mormon

I've started my life as a Mormon because my birth mother sought out a Mormon family because of her experience with good Mormon friends. She wanted a strong spiritual family for me. Will I stay in the Mormon Church? Right now I'm a little unsure. I do have a testimony of many parts of the Mormon faith. I have a testimony of the "Word of Wisdom" (respecting our body by not smoking, drinking or doing drugs). I have a testimony of the importance of not having sex before marriage (the law of chastity). I believe in clean speech, modesty and not gossiping. I believe in Heaven and eternal families.

How I live my faith

My family is the only Mormon family in the entire school so keeping my standards is difficult sometimes but when I do I feel strong and good inside.
