Hi I'm Wayne.

I'm a dad, husband, guitar player, and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a native of Southern California. I enjoy being with family, playing sports, and being outdoors in the warm California weather. I teach online College students about finance and investments. I am married, and have three teenage daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints Church (aka "Mormons") we learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have learned that we existed before this earthly life, and that families and relationships can extend beyond the grave. Recently my family and I visited Nauvoo, Illinois, where some of our early Mormon ancestors trekked across the plains to find a place where they could enjoy religious freedom. They endured great hardships along the way, and some even lost their lives. I am grateful to those who went before me and have given me such a great legacy and example of sacrifice.

How I live my faith

One of the things my father used to tell me when I was young was that not only did I need food for the body, but also spiritual food in order to have a happy and productive life. I have learned to seek for that "spiritual food" that may Father spoke of that can come through personal prayer, reading the scriptures, attending Church, and rendering service to others.
