Hi I'm Tom

I'm from Jeffersontown Kentucky. I'm a Dentist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Dentist of 4 years. I have been married for 6 years. I have a 2 and half year old girl and a 6 month old little boy. My family and my religion are the things I am most grateful for in this life. I played sports growing up; football, soccer, but my real passion was wrestling. I served a mission in Rome Italy, so I speak Italian and cook Italian.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm of the belief that if I was not born in the church, I would have been a convert. The church is only for those that are seekers of truth and are completely honest with themselves. Our church is the only one I know of that encourages our youth to search out the doctrine on their own and to take it to God for an answer. We never expect anybody to accept our word as truth but to gain a personal witness from the man upstairs. That is how I came to know that the church was true.

How I live my faith

The church is a way of life. If a belief does not require everything, it can't save you. If you are expecting to attend church on Sunday and say a few prayers and proclaim yourself saved, then this is not the church for you. If you are looking for a complete change of life, internally and externally, and become a new man or woman, this is the religion for you.

What is being a Mormon like?

Tom
As a teen, I did not live by the standards of the gospel and I was not happy. At one point, I did not even believe there was a god. The moment I turned my life to God and to the gospel, I felt a flood of joy in my soul. I have never felt anything like it before. I guess the best answer to 'what is being a Mormon like?', to me it means completeness. My life is complete. Not finished; not that I have every answer, but I know that I'm not missing anything in my life. I understand what the meaning of life is. Show more Show less
