Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying political science. I have an insatiable appetite for politics. It is not uncommon to walk in on me watching the latest presidential debate or reading the New York Times. I love to paint and create. As a former hair stylist, I'm an artist at heart. I have a love for music, books, and the water too. Sometimes I wish I was a mermaid. I grew up in a small town in southwestern Minnesota. I have four amazing brothers and two wonderful parents who are my very best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an incredible, loving family where I was taught the gospel at a young age. Both of my parents are converts to the church and both have strong testimonies of the truthfulness of the gospel. The church has always been an important part of my life and my family's life. Through my parent's examples and their testimonies, I was impelled early in life to develop a close relationship with my Heavenly Father, to choose the right, attend church, say my prayers, read my scriptures, and serve others. It is through these things that I have found greater peace, joy, comfort, and hope. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father and that He loves me with an infinite love. I know that He is pleased with the way I endeavor to live my life and the choices I make every day. I know that my Savior lives and that He died for us, so that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that through this gospel, families are eternal and I am so grateful for this truth. This church is a church of happiness, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I look to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ as my way of life. I cherish the gift of activity in this Church and continually put an effort into increasing my faith and personal righteousness. I treasure the gift of service and try to seek out and help others who may need mine and the Lord’s help. I strive to bring the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone I know through missionary opportunities.
