Hi I'm Braden

I grew up in Utah. I play LAX. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports. I played football all four years of High School and played Lacrosse for my last year. I love hunting and camping and being in the outdoors. I wakeboard and snowboard and enjoy spending time out on the lake or up in the mountains with my 4 little brothers. I enjoy spending time with my friends as well. I'm currently serving a mission in the Idaho, Pocatello mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am lucky to have been born into this wonderful church and know that it truly is a blessing from our Heavenly Father to have had such a wonderful family and parents who are strong in the church. When I was twelve I had the opportunity to go to the Sacred Grove in upstate New York and the spirit there was overwhelming. As I studied and prayed there I had the strongest confirmation from the spirit that this church is the true church restored to the earth today, that God our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ had appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in that grove of trees in which I was standing and that they live and they love me. Ever since then I have never doubted that this church is true. I have come to gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon and know that if we cling to it and feast upon its words that we have the opportunity to gain Eternal Life with our families and with our Lord and Savior. I have also come to realize that from my testimony of the Book of Mormon I can know the truthfulness of any aspect of this church. It really is true, the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion and if we know that it is true then that makes Joseph Smith a prophet of God, which means he did see Them and so on. I know our Savior Jesus Christ lives and that He loves us with a perfect love, that He atoned for our sins and died so that we can all live agian after this life. I love Him and am so grateful to Him every day of my life.

How I live my faith

I strive to exemplify the same traits that Christ exemplified during His life. I do all that I can to show others my faith not only in word but in deed as well. I am now serving a mission and hope to bring my brothers and sisters in Idaho (and hopefully Argentina in June) to the truth as well.
