Hi I'm Bryce Shepard

I'm a magician, outdoor enthusiast, and a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Bryce. I am a young single adult, and am currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. All of my time currently goes to spreading the word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but before I left I had various activities that I enjoyed. I run recreationally, both to keep me in shape, and because I love the thrill of running. I also enjoy performing street magic amaturely, and have been doing it for about a year or so. I love reading, and have knocked out many book series before I began my mission service. I also love hiking, and adventures! Ask me about an adventure I've had!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I went to church every Sunday when I was young, and I believed in what was taught. I knew I would go on a mission to serve the Lord in any way, shape, or form. In the past few years, I kinda fell away, although I continued going to church weekly. I was unsure whether or not I would continue to go after my parents stopped forcing me, or if I would even go on a mission. I got my patriarchal blessing at the age of 13. What it showed me is that if I stayed true, there are some really special things planned just for me, as there are for everyone else. But for some reason, I still didn't belive. I made some bad choices in the years that followed, and although I regret them, I'm glad I made them. They are part of the reason I am who I am today. I repented my decisions, and am now working myself to be at the spiritual level I should be at. And what these things have taught me is that like the Nephites, Lamanites, or Children of Israel, no matter how far you fall, you can always come back. I struggled with this steady climb back into the light, and stumbled and fell on many occasions. I helped teach people with the missionaries in my congregation for a couple years during this hard time, and I was able to see the change, and the sudden happiness coming into peoples' lives. I decided to study, and read the Book of Mormon for myself to know if it was true. After reading it, and pondering the teachings therein, I came to the conclusion that it must be true, and my testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel skyrocketed. I am now serving a full-time mission so that I can share this happiness I have found with all. I hope to be able to be an instrument of the Lord in bringing many souls to Christ

How I live my faith

I am currently a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I wake upp early to prepare myself for the day, and then go out to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. I will teach current members, and non-members alike, in an effort to bring all closer to Christ.
