Hi I'm Tiffany

Started out on a farm, taught English in Ukraine, now I'm a wife, student, and a teacher, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a very small farm town where the population of cows greatly outnumbered the population of people. It's small, it's quiet, and at times unexciting, but it's home. Although I was a quiet and shy little girl in high school, I had a lot of fun performing in our school choirs. All of my life I have wanted to see the world beyond my little town and experience new places and new cultures. I finally fulfilled my dream last year as I became a volunteer English teacher in Ukraine. This was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. After coming back to the United States I met my very own prince charming and we are both attending Utah State University. I am majoring in early childhood education and elementary education. Between family, church, school, and work and all other aspects of life, I am kept very very busy, but life is great and I am excited to see what the future holds.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has so many resources such as the Book of Mormon, a living prophet, and God's priesthood which are all centered on bringing us closer to Christ. It is because of this church that I have come to know that God truly does love me as an individual and that he is actively involved with my life. I have also come to know I can become a much better person through Jesus Christ than I could on my own. He knows my potential and is trying to help me a little closer to it every day. This gospel brings me so much happiness on a daily basis. Even on the days where everything seems to be going wrong, I find comfort and peace in the steadiness and truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I turn to Christ, I can't help but feel happy and peaceful. I am so grateful that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Learning about Christ helps me learn to be a better teacher. Jesus Christ is the master teacher and when I try to teach as he does, with love, kindness, and understanding, I connect with my students on a much deeper level and the experience is priceless. The gospel of Jesus Christ also helps me to be a better wife. Being newly married, I am still learning how to put my pride aside and let go of my selfishness. Sometimes this is hard! But no matter how hard it gets, the Lord has always been there for me and he is humbling me little bits at a time so that I can love my husband more and more.
