Hi I'm Robin

I am a wife, a mother, and a daughter of God!

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and homemaker. My husband, children and I are trying to learn more about life, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how to return to live with our Heavenly Father. I enjoy spending time with my family. I try to make my children's world the best it can be. To me, this means I stay home with them and support them in all they do. I've learned that I can't do everything. Each day I embrace what it brings and am grateful for wonderful treasures God has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents had been baptized and actively involved in the Church before I was born. I was raised on the principles taught through our Church. There was a time when I wanted to gain my own testimony of what my parents had been teaching me and that it was the correct way to live. I was about 11 or 12 when I prayed to Heavenly Father to let me know if what my parents were teaching me was what God considered correct. Soon after the prayer a friend of mine bore his testimony in Church. When he said that he knew the Church was true the Holy Ghost touched my heart in a way that I knew that God also knew that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was His Church and the principles being taught to me were true. A few days later I read from the Book of Mormon in 2 Nephi 25:26. It says "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." The Holy Ghost touched my heart again. I learned that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I could know my Savior and be forgiven of my sins. More importantly I knew and still know that what I had been taught was true.

How I live my faith

I believe that the first place a person lives their faith is in their home. I try to honestly live the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my daily life, in plain view of my children who watch and absorb my every move. We try to be charitable to our neighbors because that is what the Savior would do. We talk of Christ in our home, we pray in His name, we talk about stories from His life so our children will know Him. We laugh and have fun too! My kids favorite activities are to dance and sing around the house and play Candyland. We will find great happiness if we truly live the principles He taught.
