Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a mother, daughter, student, aspiring nurse, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to three wonder, beautiful kids. I go to school full-time to get my nursing degree. I work at as a resident assistant for senior citizens in their own home. I love helping others, and feel that my calling in life is to become a nurse. I love all the beauty in nature that our Heavenly Father has provided us in this lifetime. In the summer, my family lives outside! We like to collect rocks, look at birds, and hike among many other outdoorsy things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because the Holy Ghost testified to me that the Book of Mormon is true, and that this is His true church that was set up on the earth before Jesus went back to Heavenly Father. I grew up Catholic, not agreeing with some of the Catholic faith beliefs I was taught. I stopped going to church when I was young. I knew that God existed, but I didn't know where to find Him. I was on a spiritual mission to find God for sometime, when the missionaries knocked on my door. I truly believe that Heavenly Father sent the missionaries to my doorstep that day.

How I live my faith

I attend Sacrament meeting every Sunday and stay for women's Relief Society meetings and Gospel studies. I recently got called to be a primary teacher (yea!) and am looking forward to teaching our ward's youth and learning myself. I like to volunteer in my community. My favorite time spent volunteering is visiting the elderly and getting to know their life stories...some of them are so lonely and it feels good to know that I am doing something to brighten their day.
