Hi I'm Jessica

I'm from So. California. I LOVE theater and to laugh! I'm serving in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. I go to BYU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Corona, California and loved it! I love the weather and the people. I love that there is so much to do in California. Some of my favorite things to do with my family are to go to the beach and go to Disneyland. So many of our family memories take place there. I love spending time with my family. My family is the most important thing to me here on this Earth. Without them I wouldn't be who I am today. Not only do I love spending time with my mother, father and brother but I love spending time with my extended family. I am so close to my grandparents, uncles/aunts and cousins and I LOVE IT! I love having such an amazing network of people who love me and support me. I know God created families for a reason. They are meant to help us through hard times, give us guidance and cheer us on. I love the arts and know that music and art helps create humanity and is what defines us as human beings. I am a college student studying theater education. I love learning about how to share my knowledge of the arts with those that will be in my classes. I love performing and the adrenaline rush that comes with it. So many things can be learned through studying the arts. What a joy it is to see children coming into their own through the arts. I feel that the arts helps each and everyone one of us learn lessons about life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am grateful to my family and my church leaders for helping to teach me the Gospel. Even though I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I still had to come to know it was true for myself. Each of us come to a point in our lives where we are seeking truth. I came to that point and asked the question for myself if the church was true. As I prayed and read the Book of Mormon, with real intent, I was able to receive the answer that it is true. I know that God love's His children and that He will do all He can to help us return to Him. Through His gospel I have learned that families can be together forever which has given me such a peace to know that I can be with all of my loved ones even when they pass away. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and for His willingness to suffer for all of our sins and afflictions that He may succor His people (meaning you and me). I have seen the hand of my Savior in my life and I know that he knows me by name and cares so much about me. I am grateful to have the Savior as my best friend. There is no greater friend. I know the church is true and that this is Christs church here on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life and have had many opportunities to serve others and share my faith. I have served in many capacities of the church. I love every moment that I get to serve others and strive to follow Christ in everything that I do. I have also tried to be like my Savior and give service whenever it is needed. I strive to live my life in accordance with God's commandments and to be the example that he would have me be. I know that God gives us commandments for a reason. They are a way for Him to bless us and help us to live our life to it's fullest potential.
