Hi I'm Faith

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Philippines and started teaching among Beehive young women and chorestering in every church services.

About Me

Reading for secular and spiritual nourishment are my interest. Because I am an auditory and visual learner, these help me realize and learn many things that would change and exhort me as a virtuous woman inside and outside of the church. I love writing poems and short stories, appreciating artworks, and taking wonderful photographs. I am a college student taking a generalized course of mass communication. I love to teach and inspire people through a testimony with a smile.

Why I am a Mormon

The high standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints transformed me into a better woman and a daughter of God. Through the counsels of inspired leaders, my mind set in a path that will make me come and be perfected in Him. Of course, there were and will be great turmoils that somehow hinder me because of worldly whispers but it taught me how to identify the voice of our Lord like as of a sheep who can hear its shepherd. It is because of the Book of Mormon, where I can fully understand the plan of salvation and atonement, our divine roles to do, and how it is being proved to myself that it is true. I felt the happiness and great joy while doing my part as a Latter-day Saint, when I ponder and read scriptures, listen, and attend Institute classes.

How I live my faith

After my youth age, I was suddenly called to teach among my young women Beehive friends. Also, I do chorestering during sacrament meetings. I did visit my fellow church mates and share spiritual thoughts to them. Also, daily scripture study strengthens my testimony and living them, while doing my part as a Publishing Head in the Manila Institute of Religion.

Are Mormons Christians?

Faith
I believe what President Hinckley said regarding Mormons are Christians for I trully testify that Jesus Christ is our leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; we "pray and worship" in His name and are able to act according to the highest standards and through the counsels of our leaders. I know that the importance of the plan of salvation, when we've come to know more about it, will really proves His pure love for us. Show more Show less
