Hi I'm Sherry Beth

I'm from Las Vegas. I'm a writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student. I aspire to be an author and a mother. I come from a long line of LDS families on my mom's side, but my dad's family didn't join the church until he was four. I come from a big family and it's great. We have so much fun together.

Why I am a Mormon

There is a very simple reason that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It makes me happy. That's why I go to church and study the gospel. I couldn't be happy if I didn't have a testimony that I could be with my family through eternity. They are so important to me. Besides that the commandments, instead of limiting me, keep me from making mistakes that make me unhappy. I know who I am, where I came from, and what will happen to me when I die. That's why I have to be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

I serve as a teacher in my branch. It's intimidating to teach people older and wiser than me, but because I do my best the Lord blesses me. I have learned to enjoy teaching and learning more from my students than they learn from me.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Sherry Beth
Before any of us were born we lived together in Heaven. Jesus Christ was our brother. According to our God's plan he came and lived on the Earth. He lived a perfect live to be our example of how to live to return to live with God again. While on the Earth he suffered and died for us, so that we could repent of our sins. After he died, he was resurrected, which made it possible for us to be resurrected as well. He did all of this for us, so that we could live together for eternity. :) Show more Show less
