Hi I'm Linnea

I grew up in Erie. I'm an opera singer. I bake cakes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music is my life. I grew up in a musical family so it was natural for me to fall in love with it. I've been singing in opera's for a few years. It's one of my favorite things to do. I also love to read, just about anything. I am currently looking into becoming a nanny. Caring for children is another one of the things I love to. It's probably my favorite thing to do. I was lucky enough to grow up in the church so I have an awesome mom and dad who have strong testimonies in the church too.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the church may give off the impression that I was just raised to believe the gospel so I do. But like everyone else I had to grow my own testimony of the church. I have watched the church change the lives of those who didn't have it before. I have listened to the testimonies of others. Both of which have helped me gain my testimony. But only when I truly searched within myself did I find my own testimony. The power of music is also an amazing thing. I believe much of my testimony was built on the testimonies that I hear through the music of the church. I bare my testimony every Sunday when I sing hymns in Sacrament Meeting. I love this church.

How I live my faith

A recent calling of mine was as the Primary Chorister. As I've mentioned before there aren't a lot of things I like more than music. Being able to teach those younger than me about the power of music is such an amazing opportunity. I've also always participated in church choir or even just special musical numbers during Sacrament Meeting. I like to believe that I've set an example for my non-member friends by following the standards of the church.
