Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in Utah County. I'm a husband and father of five. I work in the software industry and I play golf. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 10th child in a family of 12. I learned to negotiate and "get along" at a young age. I spent my youth playing baseball and golf and working hard to get good grades in school. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking food for the family and listening to a mix of classic rock and country music. I have worked in recreation field, retail sales, direct sales and now I work as a manager in the services division in the software industry. I earned my bachelors degree many years ago, and recently returned to university and earned my MBA in a effort to continue learning and growing. I am a husband and father of five great kids! Each one of them brings a special spirit to our family and each has very unique and different skills. We spend time at the soccer field, baseball park, golf course, swimming pool, basketball court, bowling ally, riding bikes and many other places where families can have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had great examples set for me by members of my family. I come from a pioneer family who immigrated from Denmark and Norway. They were taught the gospel of Jesus Christ by missionaries and converted by the power of the Holy Ghost. They endured all types of trials to gather with the Saints in the rocky mountains and helped settle the southern portion of Utah county. My mother taught me the power of service and responsibility by her example. She helped keep me on the straight and narrow road in my youth and provided strength and endurance to the entire family. She spent many years as a single mother leading her large family and depending on the support of Heavenly Father! My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ started young and developed over time. I learned to listen to the Holy Ghost and follow the teachings of the Savior and his Prophets. I have experienced the quiet promptings of the Holy Ghost when searching for the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and reassurance of the special calling of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that I am a child of God and that he knows me and loves me! I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior and that he has suffered and atoned for my sins. He did this because of his love and to provide a way for me to return and live with him. The power of the Priesthood and the blessings of the Temple have been restored to provide saving ordinances for all families and individuals in preparation for the return of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working hard to attend my meetings each week, read and study the scriptures and pray individually and with my family each day. I live my life so that I am worthy to attend the Temple and share in the blessings of an eternal family. I work with the youth in the Church and enjoy teaching them the gospel and helping them to understand the importance of their lives and how to prepare for the future! I strive to follow in the footsteps of my pioneer forbears and my mother by providing service and setting a good example of the Savior and his Gospel.
