Hi I'm Shari

I'm a wife, mother and grandmother. I work as an administrative nurse.

About Me

I am almost 60 years old. I have been married to my husband for almost 36 years. We have three children, 2 girls and a boy. They have blessed us with 9 natural grandchildren and 4 stepgrandchildren. My husband and I enjoy the beach, long walks and our family. When I turned 30 I went to our local community college and completed classes to become an lpn. I have worked in the long term care field for almost 30 years. I have been sewing since I was about 8, started quilting in my 30's, not very good at it, but make quilts for the grandkids. I also enjoy embriodery, both printed and counted.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converted when I was about 6. I was baptized when I was 8. I have had several periods of inactivity over the years. I keep comming back to the church, because its like going home. I love the focus on family.

How I live my faith

I currently have no callings. I attend church weekly, enjoy Sunday services, especially sunday school and women's group. I support my grandchildren and thier activity programs. I try to attend all of the community programs provided by the church. The feeling of family is wonderful.
