Hi I'm Meagan

I'm a wife and mother. I run a home daycare. I grew up in Canada and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 7 amazing years. I am a mother of 3 amazing children, ages 5, 2 and 9 months. I am an Early Childhood Educator running an in home daycare. I love reading, music and learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know it is true. I was baptized when I was 11 and believed that it was good. However, when I was 19, I decided to read the book of Mormon for the first time. I prayed about it everyday and read a chapter or more a day. I didn't fell anything. I didn't know it was true until I read the last verse. The spirit was poured out upon me. I knew it was true and I still know it is true. Because of that event, I was able to change my life. I stopped swearing and treated people better. I married in the beautiful Toronto Temple in 2007 to a wonderful man and now have 3 wonderful, amazing, children. My husband and I read the scriptures each day together, and I read individually. I feel more at peace and am able to go through trials with greater ease. Through prayer I can see the Lord's blessings each and every day. I know Jesus Christ lives. I know the church is true. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and that there is a living prophet upon the earth. I know Heavenly Father lives. I know the book of Mormon is true. Because of this knowledge, I am never lost. I know there is more and I know that my family can be together forever. It is that knowledge that keeps me going each and everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and every day by being kind to everyone. I try to be patient and kind with my children. I am friendly to everyone I meet by smiling, saying hi and starting conversations with people. I attend church every Sunday and feed the missionaries every week. I talk about the church in my daily life because the gospel is my life. I remember each day that we are all children of God and try and be understanding to all, despite our differences. I teach my children to be kind to others and to think of those in need. I donate to local charities and try to help others as much as possible.
