Hi I'm Arthur Pham (Hieu)

I'm Vietnamese with two fake front teeth and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old born 01/01 NEW YEARS BABY! Just kidding I was born at 4 pm by a wonderful mother that has always been there for me no matter what. I went to Monroe High School a small town in Washington where I got to learn and grow with loving people around me. I will never forget those that have been In my life to nurture me as I was growing up. Growing up in the Pacific North West you get to enjoy all four seasons! Well maybe not summer but we make the best of what we got! I love playing sports! The comradely and friendship you gain through sports is second to none! I recently have the opportunity to serve a mission in Cambodia/Vietnam woooooooow still shocked everyday!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I was very fortunate enough to have the knowledge of Jesus Christ in my life and desired a love for Him at a young age. At the time I was not a member of the Church but my family was apart of the Catholic church. I was lucky enough to have a mother who read to me the bible everyday and prayed to Jesus Christ every night as a family. At a young age I saw the Lord’s hand in my life before I was introduce to the Church. When I was about 10 years old my Parents got divorced and I was fortunate enough to have a strong mother who took me and my 2 siblings away from our unhealthy environment. I will always be in debt to my Heavenly Father who had bless me with that opportunity to really break free and live without fear. One of my biggest heroes is my older brother Anthony. He was the older brother that you always wanted to be when you grew up. You wanted to copy everything he did. But I remember when the missionaries came to teach our family I was still really young at the time. My older brother was about 14 years old. If he never took the lessons with the missionaries and exercised his faith in the restored gospel and the true church of Jesus Christ on this earth today I don’t think I would of be where I am today with out his leap of faith. The Book of Mormon I have never thought could help me in my life that was because I never gave it a chance. As I got older and allowed the gospel to help me I learned that I could do anything with the Lord on my side.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by knowing that my Heavenly Father lives. That everyday I strive to make the right decisions to follow him and to obtain Christ like attributes. I've learned patience, hope, charity, virtue, integrity, and faith through my Savior Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect I've given into peer pressure and have gone down the wrong path. Something, which I highly regretted, but I have learned so much through my experiences. If you stand in holy places, make the right decisions you won’t need to experience transgressions to know of happiness. One thing that has really given me HOPE has been the grace of God. Through grace we are able to learn and grow. As we relay on the atonement our sins and guilt are left behind. Because of that we can feel happy and joy!! Heavenly Father will never leave your side, he will always be there!
