Hi I'm Mariah

I'm a wife and mother of three. I love to play volleyball, exercise, and be with friends. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have been married for ten years to my wonderful husband. We have three children, two boys and one girl. I love being a stay at home mom. It comes with a lot of challenges but the rewards definitely out weight them. I love to play volleyball! I enjoy working out but enjoy eating even more. I am a convert to the church and only member of my family. This has been a struggle for me but I have seen the blessings that have come because of my choice. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was eighteen. I knew that I wanted better for my future family. My parents divorced when I was young and I was raised by a loving dad. I had many LDS friends as a youth who were great examples for me. I knew that I should be baptized because of the feelings I had received when learning that families could be together forever. I know that as I live the teachings of Christ that I will be blessed. I know that I am a Daughter of God who loves me, who knows me, and hears my prayers. I know that we can live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I just try to do my best. I attend my church meetings each Sunday (yes all 3 hours!). I live by the standards of the church. I make visits to other sisters in our ward to make sure they are doing well, to be their friend, and help with any needs. I teach when asked and prayerfully study each lesson before I do. We try to have FHE (family home evening) each Monday to have fun together as a family and learn more about the Gospel. We try to read scriptures together and say a family prayer each night. I try to attend the temple as often as I can. As I do all these things I feel the Saviors hand in my life helping me through my daily trials.
