Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Colorado. I love the outdoors. I go to college and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a man with many hobbies and interest. I like everything from being in the wilderness to playing video games and writing music on the guitar or piano. I come from a family of six. All of us grew up in the church together. I served a mission for the church in Sierra Leone, West Africa. It was an amazing experience and I grew to love the culture, people, food, and their simple way of life. I currently attend Brigham Young University Idaho and studying Exercise Physiology.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I had grown up in the church doesn't mean that I was living it. There were many challenges that I faced as a young teenager. I didn't fully understand God's plan for us here on this earth and never contemplated how my actions could affect my life. I was quite lost and confused. I straightened myself out so I could go on a mission but it wasn't until I learned and comprehended the gospel did I realize there was a greater plan for all of us on the earth. God's plan was the plan of happiness and would lead us to gain eternal life. There was no other way to be truly happy. That is so much better than what the world has to offer.

How I live my faith

There isn't a whole lot that I do in the church besides home teaching and attending church. However, these are great blessings in my life because they provide opportunities to provide service and lasting friendships.
