Hi I'm Samuel

I grew up in Idaho and Utah i work in flower gardens and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 7th of 11 children. Growing up i was home-schooled and had a lot of opportunity for working. Since money was always tight the more us kids could help the better so i got my first job when i turned 11 years old and have been working since. i served a full time lds mission in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. My favorite things to do are working and spending time in nature hiking with friends. my Favorite work to do is mowing lawns and laying brick. My life long dream is to be a motivational speaker, helping others have an inner confidence and self worth. knowing that we are all Children of God and he loves us. With that knowledge doesn't matter who says we can't do something, God will always prepare a way for us to succeed. i love being an example for others and serving everywhere i can

Why I am a Mormon

i am Mormon in a large part because i was born Mormon. how ever through my life i have grown in the gospel and proven it to be the word of God i am happiest when i am following the teachings of the church. i first began to gain i testimony when i was baptized at 8 years old although i did not completely understand it i could feel the spirit. later in my teenage years going through the struggles of peer pressure and the changes that occur during teenage years i found my self in a serious need for the atonement which Jesus Christ so willingly and freely extends to us. As i went through the repentance posses using the atonement to be washed clean, that is when i gained a deeper and undeniable testimony of the love of our Heavenly Father and His plan for us to return to Him. I know that it is in and through Jesus Christ our Savoir that we may return to God and live in his Presence. i am Mormon so that i can have a reason to be better and be an example to the whole world and i know that this is where god wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being involved in the lords work currently i and in the Sunday school presidency which give my plenty of opportunity to teach the youth of our ward. I also am called as a home teacher in my ward and to go search out the members of the ward who do not have home teachers at the moment and serve them and let them know they are loved. i also live my faith in the work place where i am able to be a good example to those around my who may not know the truth. i attend the temple as often as possible the temple are such a great blessing we have that we can go and serve others and help them receive what is necessary to return to our Heavenly Father.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

For some reason there is a thought in the world that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are some how different than those that are not members. The simple truth is that no matter where you are from how you grew up ALL humans are searching for the same things in life and that is Peace, Happiness, and love. we are all in this search together. as we come to know more of out Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ we can come to the knowledge that through following the example of Jesus Christ and patterning our lives after His that we gain a greater sense of Gods plan for us on earth, which in the end is just His desire for us to recive all that He has. We were sent down to earth to recive a physical body, and use our agency to learn to control it and follow God and make the type of chocies He would. One thing that God blessed us with is families that we could learn to grow in love and serve other. He has blessed us with a loving Prophet to lead and guide us in these latter-days so we can know of the gods plan for us. I know that as we come to except and act upon this knowledge with firm Faith in Jesus Christ that we will be able to return and live with God in the name of Jesus Christ amen. Show more Show less
