Hi I'm Isaac Stevens

I'm from Lakewood, Colorado. I love to play the piano. I love going camping and hiking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending college at Brigham Young University. I like studying math and economics. I also love studying Chinese. I'm also a pretty musical person. I play the guitar, piano, and drums. I love just having a good jam session with friends. Some of my favorite bands are Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Local Natives, and Fleet Foxes. Whenever I get the chance I like to go camping in the mountains. There's such peace in the woods when you can just drown out the sound of the city with the sounds of nature. I love hiking and just exploring mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because living the standards of this church bring so many blessings to my life. The doctrines and teachings of this church make so much sense in my mind. I know these teachings are the fundamental steps needed to have a happy family. God knows exactly what we need and exactly what we need to do to be happy. These are the commandments and the counsel in the scriptures. Also the church brings so much peace into my life. I know that every day I can live a little better than I did yesterday. And through hard work, I can live a very rewarding life.

How I live my faith

At BYU, I was in a ward with many other college students. I served as the Elder's Quorum Second Counselor. I helped others come to church and helped delegate the responsibilities of other members. From this calling, I really got to see how the organization of this church really strengthens every member out of love.
