Hi I'm Emily

I'm a mother, a nurse and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to the man of my dreams and Mom and I love it! I went to nursing school and worked as a nurse for a couple years before having my baby. I love being a nurse. It's hard and challenging but it is an important job. I love all things artistic and pretend to dabble in a few! I love the outdoors and sunshine, this world if full of beauty.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving Mormon family. I was raised with Mormon beliefs and continue to practice them today and am passing them on to my children as well. I am a Mormon because I believe with my whole soul that Heavenly Father's restored gospel is true! I can't deny the spirit I feel when I talk or hear about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that living righteously is the only way to be truly happy. It brings clarity to my life in a world that is unsure and murky. I know that God, my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be with him again someday. He has provided us with a plan that began before we came to this earth and extends beyond our time here on earth. A plan that through the atonement of our savior Jesus Christ we can be together for all eternity with our families.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions and by the example I set. I do this by trying to achieve a Christlike atmosphere in my home. The home is a sacred place, where we as a family can learn and practice gospel principles together. Another way I live my faith is by serving. Currently I serve in the Primary program. I teach Sunday school to the 7 and 8 year old children. I adore it. I love to hear the children get excited to learn and to share what they already know. I love their eagerness to read the scriptures and answer questions and to pray. The primary is a special place. There is a lot that can be learned by observing God's children. Their spirits are so alive and ready for action! I also serve by being a part of the Church's women's organization.
