Hi I'm Karsten Jarman

I am a high school student in Gilbert, AZ. I play the piano, violin, guitar, and I love photography. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am currently a senior in high school. I love music and playing the piano, violin, and guitar. I enjoy being outside and I am obsessed with photography. I enjoy playing sports and hanging out with my friends. If I am not too busy with school, you will usually find me with my friends and family. My family, especially my three sisters, mean the world to me and I have loved every moment of being raised in the church with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church on the earth today. I honestly believe and know with a strong assurance that God loves each and every one of his children who are here on this earth. I have been a member of this church since I was born and I have loved every single moment of it. I find a great comfort in knowing that Christ came to this earth to give us the Atonement so that we may one day return to live with him and God the Father. I have a strong testimony of the truthfullness of this church and I have already made the decision in my life now that I will NEVER stray from the church because I know that I can never deny what I know with all of my heart to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting upon what I believe in. I choose to keep my standards high because I know that in doing so, I can live a more righteous life. I am the currently the president in my wards Laurel class presidency. The ways that this has helped me is by doing what I can to serve others as Christ would and attending church regularly. I also attend Seminary at my high school everyday. Seminary is an amazing experience that I would not trade for anything. Besides gaining an even greater knowledge of the church, Seminary helps me to study the scriptures more fully in and outside of class. Seminary helps me to find the strength to push on in life even when times get tough. There has not been a single day that I have left Seminary not feeling better about myself and remembering that I truly am a loved Daughter of God.

What is being a Mormon like?

Karsten Jarman
Being mormon is great! We are really just like any other people on the earth today. The only difference is that we know with all of our hearts that God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ live and love very much. Yes, it is hard at times when you find yourself in situations where people make fun of you and/or your beliefs and when you find yourself being put down, sometimes even by close friends. However, with the knowledge that God is on your side, you will find that anything is possible when you put your faith in him. Show more Show less
