Hi I'm Braden

i grew up in provo. i love cars, and motorcycles. i'm going to be a pharmacist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

my name is braden, i'm currently attending a tech school. i plan on being a pharmacist ultimately. i absolutely love eveything about vintage tuners (old 240z's and rx7's). and i'm also big into bobbers and cafe racers. right now i have a bobber that i've been working on for a long time, it started out as a honda, but now it looks like a 40's indian. and thats how i love it. i enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes with making something run. i also have a 1979 mazda rx7 which is my baby. haha. i've had it since i was 15, and its come a LONG way. when i was 19 i left on a mission, like most of the other boys i grew up with, and i had no idea how incredible those 2 years would be. i'll be the first to tell anyone considering serving a mission that its hard. its going to be painfull at times. but its worth it. oh. my. goodness. its worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

i'm a mormon because its true. as a missionary, you share your testimony all the time, with everyone you meet. and everyone asks you "but how do you KNOW its true?" and the first time someone asked me that question, i was taken off guard, no one had ever asked me that before! so i started to think about it a lot after that. i've never seen heavenly father, or Jesus Christ... i've never heard either of their voices... i've never had a vision telling me its true... in the end, i know its true because of the incredible feeling i get when i read with real intent from the book of mormon. when i pray sincerely to my heavenly father honestly seeking his guidance. i know this church is the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because Heavenly Father has allowed me to feel that it is true. and to me, thats more important than hearing or seeing, or any amount of physical proof or evidence.

How I live my faith

i absolutely love this church because its not a spectators church! i live my faith by fulfilling my callings to the best of my abilities. many members of the church are called to fulfill certain assignments, like teaching sunday school, giving a talk in church, visiting other members and sharing spiritual messages, performing service for other members, and non-members, these are just some of the ways that we as members can live our faith.
