Hi I'm Royal,

I have ADD. Fought depression. Background acted in movies. Taught computer hardware & software. Drove trucks. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the United States. Worked a lot of different kinds of jobs - fast food restaurants, custodian, forklift operator, air traffic controller, radio operation & repair, pencil-pusher, hypnotherapist, diversity facilitator, taught computer software classes to adults, network administrator, background actor in movies and TV, sold home security systems, commercial truck driver, drove school busses, and built recumbent bicycles. Having ADD, I change jobs a lot and struggle to complete projects. I know a lot about a lot of things, but am specialized in nothing. Still learning to play the ukulele.

Why I am a Mormon

Although my family has a background as Mormons, in my 20's I chose to be one. I had looked at many other religions, including Islam. But after much study and prayer, I gained a testimony of Jesus Christ being the Son of God and my Savior. This came through studying all the scriptures and praying to God until I saw and felt and knew the answers to my prayers. Until I absolutely knew also that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God and that Joseph Smith Jr. was another of his prophets. Nobody is perfect, but "by their fruits ye shall know them." I have found answers to the great questions of life. I have peace in my daily life ... despite frustrations and trials. I know that it is true and that our God and Jesus live and love us.

How I live my faith

I have worked in various positions of leadership in my church congregation. Even been a leader of a congregation. Over the years I have taught gospel classes to both adults and youth. I've trained teachers, and visited the old and widowed. I read my scriptures and pray every day. I help others to find happiness in their daily lives. Reading the scriptures and visiting those in need brings peace and joy into my heart on a daily basis.
