Hi I'm Raina Hodson

I'm a mommy of 2 beautiful children, married for almost 9 years to my best friend and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ive lived in Las Vegas for almost of my life, and I am lucky to say that I married my best friend. We have the most beautiful daughter and the spunkiest son anyone could ever imagine. I love my life. My husband and I have great careers. Im a Dental Hygienist (9 yrs) and he's a Police Officer (6 yrs). Not a day goes by that Im not thankful for the Gospel in my life. Having a testimony of Joseph Smith and the Atonement has blessed my life in many ways. During the trials and during the best of times, I know my Heavenly Father has been with me every step of the way. I feel His love so stongly. I love knowing that my family is for eternity and I will strive everyday so that it remains that way.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, I start by saying that I wasnt born into the church. I was introduced at 6 years old. I was so excited to see my siblings who were older than I was, getting baptized, however I was sorta sad that I wasnt getting baptized at the time. I had to wait till I was 8yrs old. I knew then that this church was going to change my life. My family growing up in the Gospel was very happy and that's the kind of family I wanted to have. I have a very strong testimony of Joseph Smith, the Atonement, paying tithing and of the Holy Ghost. I know my Savior lives and that he died for my sins. His love for me is so tremendous and I see it in my children. I love to see my children pray and listen to them sing primary songs. Ive never been happier. My little family has experienced many trials and I know that my loving Heavenly Father and Christ have been with us through every step of the way. He loves me so much and has blessed me tremendously. Ive never been happier than when Im following in His ways and being obedient to His teachings. I love my Ward Family, they are always so supportive. My cup over floweth.

How I live my faith

Im not perfect in any way, shape or form, but I try to improve my thoughts and my actions every day. I serve the church by teaching the youth. I try to set examples not only for my own children but for the young women who are constantly learning. I love planning youth events, and anything that might be needed of my family.
