Hi I'm Sean Peter Barton

I grew up in Georgia. i enjoy being out side, reading, and a video game every now and again, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student in the process of obtaining a certificate for Medical assistant, i already have a state certification for Phlebotomy which is the process of drawing blood, but i hope to eventually become a Physical Therapist, I've never been very good with punctuation so as you read this keep that in mind, haha. I'm the youngest of 5 kids, and we were all home schooled so where all close with each other and we also have some pretty mean fights some times to, but so does every body's family right. i am currently working on getting my mission papers in to go be a Elder for the LDS Church, which I'm looking forward to, it's gonna be hard and wonderful at the same time.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so i never really questioned it till i was 18 and trying to figure out 1. what i believed and 2. who i wanna be the older i get, and the more i look the more i study the doctrine preached by the LDS church the more i come to know the answers to those to questions and the better i become. for a short time i visited 1 or 2 other churches just to see what they taught and it's not that what they taught wasn't right most of the time it's that they were missing some thing, i don't know what but it never sounded or felt exactly right to me. From that and so many other little experiences that i have had, has given me a firm faith that 1. the bible is the word of God given to his children in Jerusalem and that part of the world because he loves his children, 2. that he not only love his children in Jerusalem but all his children all over the world and wants them all to return to him, therefor he would teach all of them his gospel, and that's where the Book of Mormon comes in, it is truly another testament to Jesus Christ. the only real difference between the two is that the Book of Mormon if a record from the Americas and it hasn't been subjugated to all the many translation and re-translations that the Bible has. it was written by his prophets in the Americas compiled by Mormon who is one of those prophets and then translated by the holy spirit by Joseph Smith Jr who saw God the father and Jesus Christ in a grove of trees when he was 14, and from that day on he never once denied what he saw. Which eventually lead to his martyrdom along with his brother at Carthage jail, he and his brother testified of the divinity of Jesus Christ till there last breath. i personally i felt the witness of the holy ghost testifying of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. and i will never deny it.

How I live my faith

How i live my faith? that's a question that has troubled me many times so far in my life. i don't feel like I've done much of any thing in my community recently that in my mind shows me living my faith. i mean i don't steel, i do my best never to curse, i don't lie, and i do my best to respect every one for who they are not what they look like. i guess all i really do is try to be a good person and be an example others around me, I'm not perfect by any means. but if i try to be a good example and some one see that and try's as well then maybe one day that person will be a example to me when i need one. hope this answered that question.
