Hi I'm Greg

I'm a married father of seven. I have a mixed family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work for a large healthcare company and work on Information Technology products. I am a husband and father, with seven children. I have always enjoyed Do-it-yourself projects, Primitive Living Skills, and New Media. I often think of myself as a Jack-of-all Trades. I enjoy roller skating (roller derby), rock climbing, camping, and hiking. I am happiest when I am in the wilderness among nature and enjoy listening, smelling and watching and my surroundings when in the great outdoors. I enjoy the art of a well crafted story and enjoy performances by those who have mastered their art.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Christian - LDS faith throughout my life but as an adult I have really come to understand how the things I was taught as a child are so critical to my personal plan of happiness. God has an eternal plan of happiness for all of us, but I also believe that working out my own salvation is an important part of making his plan work for me. I know that the simple precepts of the restored gospel have helped me to enjoy the blessings of sacrifice, love, faith, and courage. I feel I have a clear vision of who I am and how to be my best. I am certainly not a perfect being, but strive daily to incorporate the gospel principles in my life. I am a Mormon because it has brought more good into my life and I enjoy living with that abundant blessing.

How I live my faith

I enjoy the privilege of sharing my testimony and faith with others by performing acts of service within meetings and instructional venues at our local church building. I have been given occasion to address the congregation on topics like Faith, Adversity, Jesus Christs Ministry, as well as the assignment to visit individual families to share a gospel message. I enjoy spending time with my boys at scouting activities and time with my girls at young women's achievement events. I believe the greatest blessing I have as a member within the LDS faith is the ability to call upon the Lord's priesthood as the leader of my family and perform special ordinances and blessings that other ecclesiastical leaders from different faiths must request be brought from outside and performed by those leaders separately.
