Hi I'm Terrin

I am a college student. I love going out with friends and family and riding roller-coasters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest girl in my family with two older brothers and many younger siblings. I am currently going to college to become a nurse and am working so I can support myself. My parents both work and while they were gone I picked up many adult duties when I was younger because of that I grew up faster than most. While my family is very athletic I tend to be less coordinated so I was in student counsel and leadership in high school. I love being outside, finding adventures and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? That is simple enough, I read the Book of Mormon, prayed about it and knew it was true. I love how this gospel makes you want to be the best person you can be, how it helps you see the silver lining in any situation and how you always have someone there for you, whether it be another member or Jesus Christ. Another unique and great thing we all can have through this gospel is our families after death. My family means everything to me, I cannot imagine what my life would be without them, I never want to separate from them or my future family and through this gospel I don't have to. We can live together in Heaven for all eternity as long as we show faith in Christ and follow His commandments. In olden times Heavenly Father sent prophets to help the people through their trials and return to Him, He still loves us and wants to return as well. I can testify that He still sends us prophets today, to help us through this life. I know that President Monson is a Prophet of God, he is here so Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ can speak to us and guide us. I love this church, I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, I love the General Authorities, I love my family and I love you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to do what Christ would want me to do, in the church we have a saying, "CTR" which means Choose the Right and that is what I try to do. I help serve not only in the church but in the community as well. I help with different drives for the homeless, shelters or others in need, I volunteer and help those I see who may need it with anything- opening a door, giving some money, carrying groceries or helping an elderly person to their destination. In the church I am in the activities comity which helps the members get together and do something fun to get to know each other, something spiritual to help testimonies and knowledge or something to serve the community. I also go visiting teaching, that is when another woman and I go to a few of the other Sisters in the ward to give them a spiritual thought/lesson and to serve them in any way possible.
