Hi I'm Pam

I am a stay-at-home mom and grandmother. I enjoy helping my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the mother of 5 boys ages 8 to 28. I'm also the grandmother of 4 grandchildren, one granddaughter, and 3 grandsons with one grandson on the way. It's a joy seeing and helping all my children to learn and to grow. Four of my boys are grown and have lives of their own now, but it's still a joy for me as I raise my eight year old son and to see the growth in all my children.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been Mormon for many generations. I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 8 years old. Being Mormon, or a Latter-day Saint as I prefer to be called, has been a joy and very inspirational. Because our ultimate goal is to eventually live eternally with God and with our families, everything we do in this life centers around that goal. The gospel teaches us what we need to do in this life and how to do it. It guides us and brings us peace and much happiness. I know that God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ live and blesses each one of us.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to church each week. It's a great strength in my life to hear the lessons that are given there and associate with everyone at church. There is a great family bond there. I am currently serving as the Librarian in our ward. I really enjoy this because not only does it make me feel good to help others get what they need from the library to learn more about the gospel, it also helps me to get to know everyone. Being a visiting teacher also helps me to get to know everyone and I enjoy helping those I visit teach. I also love the various meetings and activities the Church offers as well. At home we have scripture reading and family and individual prayers every night. We also have Family Night each week which usually has a lesson and a activity centered around a gospel theme. We really enjoy the bond that is created when we do all of these things together. We grow closer to each other and to God our Father.
