Hi I'm Steven Haskell

I grew up West Jordan, Utah. I love hanging with friends, partying, women and just having fun.

About Me

I am a college age student. I went to SLCC in 2011 and am wanting to become an accountant. I love basketball, swimming, video games, hanging with friends and just having fun. People say that i'm nice and that i like to have fun. I grew up in the Salt Lake valley all of my life. One of my favorite food is cheeseburgers and I like to get them from In-n-Out burger and 5 guys burgers and fries. My favorite subject in school is math. Mostly like marketing and acounting. My favorite basketball team is the Utah Jazz.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been mormon my whole life. That has to be the main reason why because they tought me everything about the church. I have always loved the church and then I started asking questions about the church. When I was 13 I asked to know if the church is true and to be honest, I didn't get an answer. Not at first. I would go to church and read my sciptures and everything I need to do and then the spirit told me that it was true. I love the church so much. It has blessed my family and me. And I know that anyone that takes the invitation of the Book of Mormon with a sincere heart will know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example for those around me and try to be as Christ like as I can. I find ways that I can serve people or try to talk to those that need friends. Attending the church and doing service for others is how I really feel closer to our Heavenly Father.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Steven Haskell
They talk about Jesus Christ and how is church has been restored to earth and we will talk about Heavenly Father's plan of happiness and you will learn how to return to him. When they meet with people they tell them what God wants them to do, such as: reading from the scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon, praying to our Heavenly Father, going to church and partaking of the sacrament and also baptism. All of these things will help you return to Heavenly Father and have happiness. Show more Show less

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Steven Haskell
I did a study on faith once. In the Bible Dictionary it says that faith is an action. I think that we need to do the things Jesus has asked us to do such as: going to church, praying, having family home evening, reading the scruptures and being lovely. If we think about what Jesus would do in our situations and things that we will grow closer to him because we are trying our best to be like him. Show more Show less
