Hi I'm Aimee

I'm a musician, a tax accountant, and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah as the youngest of four children by eight years. Because of this, my parents were my best friends growing up. I kept busy with piano, violin, and ballet lessons, along with my school work. I went to college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where I studied accounting and received my bachelors and masters in accounting. I met my husband while at BYU and we have been married for about three years. After graduating, I began working at KPMG, one of the Big 4 national accounting firms, preparing and reviewing tax returns for businesses and individuals. We've since moved out to Tennessee to live near my husband's family. Since we moved, I am fortunate enough to work for KPMG from home. I have a passion for music, reading, and traveling. I've been to around 35 states in the U.S. and I've been to England, France, and Canada.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family and I continue to be a member of this church. Throughout my life I have had personal experiences that have showed me that I am a daughter of God, He loves me, He has a plan for me, and the only way to return to live with Him is by being a member of His one true church. He has guided my life step by step and the best thing I can do to thank Him is to obey His commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by driving 20 minutes to church, even though I am surrounded by churches much closer to my home. I arrive early each Sunday morning to play prelude music on the organ and then accompany the singing of hymns during our meetings. I also currently work in our children's organization as a secretary. I also live my faith by supporting my husband in his capacity as a leader in our ward and by giving up some of our time together so he can help others.
