Hi I'm Alex

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play Basketball. I enjoyjust being in the company of good friends and with my family. I am currently preparing to go on a Mission. I have recieved my Mission call and I will serving the people Argentina, Buenos Aries. I am very excited to be leaving because I know that it will be a grerat experience for me and more importantly the people that I will be serving.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have seen and witnessed the many blessing that have come in my life and for the people around me. I have many friends who are not of this faith and I have always wondered how they can think that they are happy. It really does make me sad when I try to let them know of the goodness of this gospel and for some reason they just "brush it off." I am a Mormon but more importantly I belong to the true church of Jesus Christ. He died so that we may return to live with our heavenly father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting an example to others. My friends all look to me when they need to be strengthened physically and spritually. I live by following what the prophets of old and the current prophets of this dispensation have told us to do. For Example I follow christ. I try to be like Christ. I love my neighbors as I have and will love myself. I do not smoke, drink beer, or anything of that nature. You will not find me in any situation where things that are hurtful for the soul and for the body. I know that by living the commandments that our heavenly father has sent for us we can all return to be with him again.

What is faith?

Faith is beliving things that we have not seen. For example faith could be related to "Santa Clause" or the "Tooth Fairy." As little kids we belived that these people were really real. We never saw them but we knew that they would come and leave us something. Like these childish dreams we belive that Christ is living and that he came. None of us will probably see Christ until he comes again but then again why do some many people belive in him? It is faith. When we have faith in Christ all things are possible. To have faith is to “hope for things which are not seen, which are true” (see Book of Mormon, Alma 32:21 and Hebrews 11:1). Each day you act upon things you hope for, even before you see the end result. This is similar to faith. Show more Show less
