Hi I'm Megan

I love life and all things bright and beautiful...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the great state of Idaho, the oldest of five kids. A few years ago I graduated from college where I studied Public Health Education. My wonderful husband Justin and I are parents to a happy, vibrant little girl named Alexa. I have an insatiable appetite for chocolate, scrapbooking, reading good books, traveling, hiking, camping, swimming (anything outdoors really), and writing my own music.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy in so many ways! It gives me direction and focus in a world that is so often crazy and chaotic. I've grown up in the church and have known since I was small that I'm a child of God and that He loves me. I've also been taught that families are forever; I can be with the ones I love, even after this life. Having a baby of my own has made that message all the more wonderful. I know that Christ is my Savior. I know that he died for me and now that He lives for me, for all of us.

How I live my faith

The church has helped me learn and grow by challenging me to be a better person each and every day. Right now I help plan and carry out activities twice a month for eight and nine year old girls. We make crafts, play games, teach lessons, and of course eat treats. I also lead the congregation in singing every Sunday. I used to get nervous but now I love it. It's a great feeling to be a part of something that touches peoples lives.
