Hi I'm Angie

I'm a Mommy and a Mormon....and I LOVE IT!!

About Me

First, thanks for reading! For many years I thought I was at the top of my game…traveling the country public speaking, interning as a television news reporter, working for the Olympics, starting my own business…all that was FUN…but not FULFILLING……. NOW.....I am top-of-my-game…fulfilling my true potential and God-given attributes. I am a Mom and I LOVE it! You see, as a Mommy, I am a.k.a...teacher, nurse, bank, policeman, toy architect, short-order-cook, beautician, and best remedy for bumps and bruises! WOW! What a JOY! And most importantly, as a mother, I am grateful for prayer and the scriptures to help guide me as I teach my family. Currently, our family lives in beautiful Pennsylvania and we fill our lives with things that bring long-lasting joy and happiness. We serve our family, church, and community and strive to better ourselves through education.

Why I am a Mormon

Each of us is blessed with the gift to choose for ourselves. At eight years old I chose to take upon me Jesus Christ’s name and enter in the waters of baptism, just as Jesus did with John the Baptist. I was baptized by my father, who holds the Priesthood. I am grateful for parents who taught me right from wrong and then let me make my own decisions throughout my life. I gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That personal, sacred testimony came to me and continues to grow as I sincerely pray to my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as I read and ponder the Bible and The Book of Mormon, and as I serve others. I know we are children of God and that God knows and loves each of us personally and individually. He knows our names and wants us to be happy. I have found true joy in keeping the commandments, cultivating love in our family, and increasing my personal testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. Words can’t adequately express my gratitude for my Savior Jesus Christ and for His gospel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am grateful to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

It is an absolute honor to serve with the youth and children of the Church! I love them and am so grateful for their faith, virtue, and bright futures! For the past seven years I've worked side-by-side teenagers and children across the Pittsburgh-area. We've provided service to our communities, grown in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and have had lots of FUN!! The youth and children of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints KNOW who they are...and they LIVE who they are. For they (and all of us) are sons and daughters of Heavenly Father. We are all God's children and He wants us to be happy. I know that true happiness and joy comes by living faithfully as Jesus Christ did when He lived on this earth. He followed the will of His father, our Heavenly Father. He kept the commandments and was faithful. Jesus Christ is our perfect example of service, forgiveness, humility, leadership, and love. I look to Christ, as He is my rock and salvation. I live my faith by knowing who I am, what my purpose is in this life, and my eternal potential. This knowledge gives me faith and hope to carry-on in my daily life.
